EMBRACING YOUR SPACE: Make Space Make Peace
Hey Friends!
I was looking around my space the other day… and something felt off.
Nothing was terribly wrong…
but something felt a little heavy.
A little crowded.
A little… unsettled.
And it made me pause.
Not just to look at my space…
but to notice how it was making me feel.
Because sometimes our surroundings are quietly speaking to us…
Through the things we’ve held onto…
the corners we’ve ignored…
the spaces we rush past without really seeing.
And I started wondering…
Does my space actually invite me to rest?
Or am I just moving through it?
That question stayed with me.
🌱
I remembered when someone once suggested I place a plant in a quiet, sunlit corner of my living room.
It seemed like such a small thing at the time…
But over time, it grew.
New leaves.
New shoots.
Until I found myself repotting it…
then dividing it…
then watching it slowly fill different spaces in my home with life.
And somewhere in that process…
My space began to feel different.
Softer.
Warmer.
More alive.
And it made me realize that creating a peaceful space isn’t about perfection…
It’s about intention.
Choosing what you keep.
Letting go of what no longer feels like you.
Making room for things that bring life… not just fill space.
And maybe that applies beyond our homes too.
Because what we hold in our minds can feel just as crowded.
The thoughts we replay…
the things we don’t release…
They take up space too.
Lately, I’ve been trying to be more intentional about that as well.
Gently letting go…
and choosing what I want to hold onto instead.
Not perfectly.
Just consciously.
🌿
So if something has been feeling a little off lately…
Maybe it’s not about changing everything.
Maybe it’s just about choosing one small space.
One drawer.
One corner.
One thought.
And making it a little lighter.
~ Keep growing, keep blooming ~ 🌸
I’d love to know—what’s one small space (in your home or your mind) you’re ready to refresh this week?
